At SafeHaven, we specialize in identifying and meeting the needs of manufactured homeowners and renters. We are dedicated to helping you understand the risks you should protect against. We will also assist you in determining the amounts and types of coverage you can buy to ensure that your home and possessions can be repaired or replaced in the event of a loss.
Manufactured Homeowners Insurance

We offer policies specifically written to protect these whether you own the manufactured home to live in or to rent out.
Available Coverage for Homeowners:

Dwelling
The dwelling, with some exceptions, is the main house as it comes from the factory plus its substantial attached structures. There are many options available ranging from comprehensive to named perils policies and homes can be written with settlement values ranging from replacement cost to actual cash value.
Adjacent/Other Structures
These are buildings that you own that are not attached to the main house. Coverage for these structures may be included or can be added to the manufactured home policy.

Personal Property
Personal Property is the stuff that you own like furniture, electronics, and clothing, for example. You can choose actual cash value settlement or upgrade to replacement cost coverage for your personal property. Some types of personal property like jewelry, antiques, collectibles, firearms, etc. that are difficult to value once they are gone may not be fully covered under a standard homeowner or renters’ policy, so if you have the types of possessions, make sure you talk to the agent about them as additional coverage for those items may be needed.
Loss of Use/Fair Rental Value
This coverage reimburses a homeowner for the extra expense they may incur if they cannot live in the insured home or the rental income a landlord may lose if the rented home cannot be occupied by a renter due to damage to the home resulting from a covered loss.

Personal Liability
You could be held liable for an accident that causes property damage or bodily injury to another person.
If included in your policy, you have coverage for the damages incurred and legal representation.
Medical Payment to Others
If someone is hurt while on your property, you have coverage for their medical needs up to policy limits.
Renters Insurance

If you are living in a manufactured home that you do not own, you will need a renter’s policy to protect your possessions and to protect you against liability claims resulting from your occupancy of the rented property.
